The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) conducts a range of competitive examinations to recruit candidates for various government jobs in the state of Tamil Nadu. TNPSC exams are known for their rigorous evaluation, and they are heavily sought after.

TNPSC Exam Categories
There are a wide array of jobs available and they are categorized based on the services they provide and qualifications required to meet them. We will be discussing them below.
Group I Services:
These exams recruit for roles including Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Category-1), and Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Taxes). Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Assistant Director of Rural Development, District Employment Officer.
The basic qualification for the candidate would be a degree from any university or institution recognized by the University Grants Commission in their respective field.
